Lots of people don't just enjoy sports - they rely on them for a sense of well-being. With COVID-19 turning us all into shut-ins, what gives? How can people get their fix when it comes to recreational activities? I pitched this idea thinking I'd just learn some hygiene tips for playing outdoors without catching the virus. After talking with some big thinkers - some really positive thinkers, actually - what I ended up writing and publishing in the Washington Post is just as much about examining our new strange reality for opportunities to grow as athletes and social beings.
